We stayed in the bell tent. It was spacious and very well equipped. A very comfy bed, coffee maker, kettle (bigger cups for tea would be good), small fridge, plugs for charging, even a continental plug adapter. Really nice site with different areas to relax or socialise in. An open fire pit with tables and chairs around, it was great toasting marshmallows with the other campers. This was organised by the hosts to encourage the campers to mix and get to know each other. It was a really lovely evening, such a nice, and very unusual thing to experience on a campsite. The vegetable garden and herb patch was a nice feature, sun warmed tomatoes straight from the vine were delicious, and available for all with a donation box to fund next years plants – brilliant idea. Excellent toilet and shower facilities, very clean and good powerful showers. In high temperatures it was a real treat to find the sprinkler hose out for our use. Lovely to cool down in – that was appreciated. Iโ€™d truly recommend this site to others. The numbers who can stay is limited which means it is peaceful, and you rarely have to wait for a shower or toilet to become free. We had to cut our visit short due to lockdown restrictions changing in Jersey, but we will be back.
