Farmhouse

Our farmhouse is over 300 years old and has all you need for a countryside escape. With limestone walls, original beams, charm and character, as well as modern facilities.

There is a salon with flat screen TV, freeview UK satellite, a log burner and comfortable sofa.

In the dining room, there is another wood burning insert, the table seats 6.

Sleeping a maximum of five people, there are two bedrooms, the master with a double bed and the second with two/three singles.

The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath.

The second bedroom can sleep 2 or 3 and has it’s own ensuite (new for 2020).

The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, in fact, all you would expect at home.

The farmhouse also has a 4 meter diameter above ground pool in the private garden for the sole use of the farmhouse guests.

New for 2020 is the addition of a second shower room off the second bedroom, equipped with rainfall shower, wash hand basin and toilet.

COVID-19 Precautions

In light of the current pandemic, we have made specific arrangements to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infections at La Fortinerie. For the farmhouse this means:

The farmhouse is sanitised throughout and sealed after departure of guests, in line with government guidelines.
Sanitizing sprays are available for use during your stay.
All bedding and towels are washed above 60 degrees.
The pool is for the sole use of the farmhouse visitors. In line with the guidance from the Val de Loire Tourism office, it is chlorinated which makes it safe for use. Chlorine levels are checked daily.
