La Fortinerie is a small, intimate campsite with a little touch of comfort and landscaped amenities. A place to wind down the jacks, break out a bottle of our local wine and relax under your caravan awning or tent. There is something nice about sipping wine, the smell of wood smoke and the satisfying sizzle of the BBQ cooking.
You can choose to stay in your own caravan or motorhome, camp in a pitch of your choice, or in our purpose-built glamping Safari tent or Bell tent. We welcome units of all shapes and sizes on our level-lawned acre and a half. We have a large space, but only accommodate a maximum of 5 units at one time to give you plenty of space, with or without an electric hookup.
All visitors to our site can enjoy the facilities and open spaces on site, which include a communal BBQ area, a firepit or ‘Boma‘ area (where we regularly host our famous ‘Boma-Nights’ – we light the fire and you are welcome to bring your own food and connect with your neighbours). And more recently, our Oasis, which has a king-size day bed and mist shower – a welcome relief in the warmer months!
There are also 2 shower rooms and 3 public toilets on site, as well as a fully-fitted kitchen equipped with cooking facilities and a washing machine/dryer.

- Two shower rooms each with their own WC, jet-shower, washbasin, mirror and powers sockets for a hairdryer/shaver.
